Production for Kids Spooky Movie: Finding Grandpa’s Gold has resumed! After a month off from filming, the cast and crew have reunited to continue and finish filming in Middleton Idaho. The weather has been beautiful but typical of Idaho, a storm of thunder and lightning gave a great show.
Being on the set of this Idaho grown and filmed production has never ceased to amaze me. After a month off, some crew members have not been able to return. What happens? The remaining crew wears more hats and fills more shoes!
What happens when you take two Italian guys and place them in Kids Spooky Movie? Mud, mud and more mud! Who needs makeup when all natural Idaho farm mud is on hand? Pretty sure these two actors had no idea what was in store for them when they signed on to participate in this film. They have been great and provide side splitting comedy on and off camera!
As a kid, most of us dream of going to Hollywood and becoming a movie or sitcom star.

The lights, cameras, costumes and fun lure many. Traveling to Hollywood, LA or New York is not necessary to enjoy the lights, costumes, cameras (and more cameras) and have loads of fun! The cast of Kids Spooky Movie came into this project not really knowing what the rules of a set are, how to project clear voices or why the camera man is shining a light this way and that until perfection is reached. What has transpired in the making of this film includes increased skills and knowledge but also the cast has gained confidence and friendships that may not have been formed before. Kids Spooky Movie has been a great asset to Idaho and will be a great family movie for all.

In a word Kids Spooky Movie is simply wonderful story about two kids who invite their friends over for a treasure hunt, at night, in the woods just beyond their house to search for their Grandpa’s Gold. But it’s not that simple.
